Everything was excellent, tranquil location close enough to rural Herefordshire, very enjoyable experience. Had a lovely cooked and delicious breakfast with fruit, juices plus own scrambled eggs. No reason to complain, the hotel met standards.

Our hostess Carol was absolutely amazing, going above and beyond to make us feel at home. The old house has so much character and our room was spacious and cozy, with a super comfy bed and a large TV. Everything we needed was provided, including fresh milk for our drinks. The breakfast selection was mind-blowing, with a beautifully prepared fruit salad and a great variety of options. The location was ideal, quiet yet conveniently close to the main road. The building itself was attractive and the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The staff were friendly and there was plenty of information available about the area. We also appreciated the loan of the local OS map to explore. staying here was a jaw-dropping experience and the perfect base for exploring the area.

The accommodation had a nice character and was a good base for exploring the surrounding area. the spacious rooms with comfortable beds offered a good night's sleep and a very nice breakfast was served. the bathroom was clean and tidy, and the fruit salad was a nice touch.
The payment administration was inconvenient and a better method should be implemented.

We enjoyed our romantic escape to this quaint and charming countryside B&B. The location was idyllic, tucked away in a serene spot that offered peace and quiet. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we particularly liked the large en-suite bathroom and the hearty breakfast that was included in the price. The information brochures provided were also useful in helping us plan our day trips.
The parking set up was a bit basic and could have been improved with a better surface and more lighting for safety purposes. It was also a bit challenging to find the entrance in the dark.

Great breakfast, and the location was perfect for exploring the nearby town. the bed was comfortable and the room spacious with a nice seating area.
The place could use a good cleaning. It was clear that the owners didn't prioritize keeping the place tidy and clean.

We had a fantastic stay at a charming B&B with character. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area and attending the Hay Festival. Our suite of two rooms sharing a bathroom was ideal for our multi-generational family. The host, Carole, was warm and welcoming, and her delicious breakfasts were a highlight of our stay. Despite some minor issues like a slightly dated feel and a lack of a walk-in shower, we had a wonderful time at Howton Grove House. I would highly recommend this B&B for its character, location, and friendly service.
